With the release of his newest album, For Cryin’ Out Loud (2024), Finneas will begin his North American tour. He is set to perform in Chicago at the Salt Shed on Feb. 26, 2025, with opener Bad Suns.
Finneas O’Connell, professionally known as Finneas, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and producer. He is widely known as Billie Eilish’s older brother, writer, and producer. Through his work with his sister, he has made an immense impact on the music industry.
Finneas has received ten Grammy awards and 18 nominations, mostly for his work with Eilish as well as for his solo work as well. He has worked with numerous artists alongside Eilish, including Drake, Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj, Ringo Starr, Halsey, Justin Beiber, and so many more. He is acclaimed for his production in the pop music industry.
As for his solo work, his first studio album, Blood Harmony, was released in 2019 and gave him the opening he was searching for to begin not just writing and producing but singing as well. Since then, he has released three albums and 23 singles.
His new album, For Cryin’ Out Loud, which came out in October of this year, is his first solo album in a couple of years. He felt that working on a solo album was generally lonely, and those emotions come through in the album.
Finneas will perform his newest album at The Salt Shed on Feb.26, 2025, with opener Bad Suns. Tickets can be purchased now through Ticketmaster ticketmaster.com.
