Chaz Bear, known professionally as Toro y Moi, the American singer, songwriter, producer, and graphic designer, is coming to New York this February. Toro Y Mio approached his eighth studio album with a different approach, than he did the others. According to Rolling Stone, he wanted to explore Hole Erth in a more physical and metaphorical sense. His most recent shows included a performance at III Points Festival in Miami on October 19th and a performance at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, yesterday October 25th. Hole Erth features many well known artists like Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Flume, Kenny Mason, & more. According to an album review by Pitchfork, “Hole Erth, is a reference to the esoteric counterculture magazine Whole Earth Catalog, which Steve Jobs once referred to as a “paperback Google.” Toro Y Mio will be accompanied by Panda Bear on his Valentines day show at Terminal 5. His tour is set to take off in Minneapolis on February 2nd and follow through into mid May of 2025. Tickets to the tour went on sale on October 18th and the NYC show is still selling, for $73 USD. for General Admission.
