Calabasas based alternative-rock band, Incubus, have announced a US Arena Tour in support of their upcoming album, Morning View XXIII, a reimagined version of their 2001 classic, Morning View. The group will conclude the tour with a stop in San Francisco at Chase Center on September 12.
Originally forming in 2001, Incubus, have become a platinum selling band through the mainstream success of singles like “Drive,” “Wish You Were Here,” and “Dig.” They’ve released a total of eight studio albums and have been nominated for numerous awards worldwide, notably winning the Billboard Music Award for Modern Rock Track of the Year for their song, “Drive.” Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist Brandon Boyd, guitarist Mike Einziger, drummer Jose Pasillas, keyboardist and DJ Chris Kilmore, and bassist Nicole Row.
Morning View, is Incubus’ fourth studio album and their most commercially successful. It has gone double platinum and produced hits “Wish You Were Here” and “Nice to Know You.” Their upcoming redux/rerecording of the project, Morning View XXIII, is set to release on May 10. The album marks the start of a new era for the band, after the departure of longtime bassist Ben Kenney and the introduction of bassist Nicole Row.
