Chart topping Dutch DJ and producer, Martin Garrix, has announced a four night residency at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium! He will be making his grand return to the Bay Area from June 12 to June 15.
Martijin Gerard Garritsen, was born on May 14, 1996, and has been active as a musician since 2012. He was first inspired to become a DJ after witnessing Dutch DJ, Tiesto, perform at the Summer 2004 Olympics in Athens. Garrix would begin releasing singles and collaborating with other musicians in 2012 and achieved his first bout of viral success through his 2013 single, “Animals.” The track charted in multiple European countries which helped him garner the attention of many major labels and ultimately kickstarted his career.
The last decade has been nothing short of massive for Martin Garrix as he has found success through collaborative singles such as, “In The Name of Love,” with Bebe Rexha, and “Scared to Be Lonely,” with Dua Lipa. He has also headlined numerous EDM festivals, closed the 2018 Olympics, and toured the world multiple times over. Garrix has released a total of four EPs, three compilation projects, and his 2022 studio album, Sentio. It is safe to say that he has become one of the biggest names in electronic music, and his return to San Francisco is surely not to be missed.
