Since the June release of their album Tomorrow’s Harvest, the Boards of Canada are pleased to announce a reissue of their catalogue on vinyl. The repressed vinyl catalogue is due out October 21st via Warp Records.
Iconic band, Boards of Canada, are reissuing a catologue on vinyl due to popular demand. The October 21st release via Warp Records will feature Music Has The Right to Children (1998), Geogaddi (2002), and The Campfire Headphase (2006). This October release will be followed by an additional release of the mini-album Twoism (1995), EP’s In A Beautiful Place Out In the Country (2000) and Trans Canada Highway (2006). This additional vinyl is scheduled to release November 18th, preceding an end of the year reissue of the 1996 EP Hi Scores via Skam Records.
Vinyl has been a complimentary theme for Boards of Canada, with the April 2013 mystery 12″ vinyl releases in promotion for their June album Tomorrow’s Harvest. The album received widespread notoriety for their video release featuring the track “Reach for the Dead” and a debut Tomorrow’s Harvest performance at an abandoned waterpark in Southern California.
