Thurston Moore project Chelsea Light Moving will kick off a run of fall tour dates in September, in continued support of their self-titled debut that came out this March.
With Sonic Youth on a break that could potentially be permanent, following the split between Moore and wife/bandmate Kim Gordon, Chelsea Light Moving has emerged as somewhat of a different direction for Moore. His new band possesses something of a louder and more aggressive approach to music than that of what fans consider Moore to be well-known for, in his over 30 years with Sonic Youth.
Chelsea Light Moving will be making occasional stops with Tampa-based punksters Merchandise this fall – see below for a complete listing of the upcoming tour.
