Following the release of his sixth solo studio album, Quaranta, Danny Brown will be heading on his North American tour, Quaranta ‘24. The tour dates were announced by the Detroit rapper in December 2023 on Instagram with a list of 24 dates across the U.S. and Canada. While on tour, Danny Brown will be stopping in Austin, TX, at Empire Garage on April 11^th. 

According to Brown, the tour will include performances of some of the most personal songs from him to date, as Quaranta—translating to ‘40’ in Italian—grapples with Brown’s own mortality and his past, now that he is in his forties. The album also offers what fans love most about the alternative hip-hop rapper—his experimental instrumentation and vocal delivery. Unlike traditional hip-hop and rap, Brown has created his own lane through his unorthodox beats that range from prog-rock, techno, boom-bap, and more; with a vocal delivery and flow just as diverse as he’s able to transform his voice to reach an incredibly shrill tone, and just as quickly deliver his lyrics with a deep low growl. This kind of performance will be so exciting to watch live in concert while Brown is on his 2024 tour.
