Perhaps many of us have yearned for the cathartic release demonstrated in Wavves’ new video for the track “That’s On Me.” Well, maybe we wouldn’t have taken it quite as far as they did, but go ahead and be the judge of that for yourself.
Wavves’ new video for “That’s On Me” depicts a stoney-faced business man earnestly slicing liquid-filled soda bottles and garbage cans with a Samurai sword. The business man’s slicing rampage seems to be at its peak until the camera zooms in on him holding an axe. The man then begins to hack through animal carcases straight from the slaughterhouse – a scene that rivals Gaga’s meat dress and can be described as “nauseating” at best.
