British Industrial musician, Lustmord, announces new album, The World As Power, his first ever for Blackest Ever Black. The album, half a decade in the making, is Lustmord’s first ever to feature vocals in the center of the dark sonic textures.
According to a press release the album is “an exploration of ritual music without dogma.” The album will feature vocal contributions from Aina Skinnes Olsen, Jarboe (ex-Swans), Maynard James Keenan (Tool) and Soriah.
Lustmord has been creating dark ambient and textural music for over three decades. One of his more recent projects include his collaboration with the Melvins on the 2004 album, Pigs of the Roman Empire. Check out an excerpt from the track “Chorazin” below as well as the tracklist for the album.
