Alt-rockers Bosnian Rainbows have added more East Coast and Midwest dates to their 2013 tour in support of their upcoming debut LP. In addition, they’ve been added to the stellar line-up of North Carolina’s Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Festival alongside Nine Inch Nails and Animal Collective.
The El Paso band, who have drawn comparisons to Siouxsie & The Banshees and Can, features former Mars Volta members Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Deantoni Parks, and Le Butcherettes vocalist Teri Gender Bender. They will release their self-titled first album June 25th, right in the midst of their Summer world tour. The music video for their second single, “Turtle Neck,” is comprised of their own tour footage from 2012.
