After already playing two sold out shows at the Electric Factory earlier in March, Dropkick Murphy’s are set to return to Philadelphia this August. Last week the celtic-punk rockers announced dates for their summer tour which include a stop at The Mann Center’s new Skyline Stage on August 21st. Dropkick Murphys are touring behind their latest album Signed and Sealed in Blood. The group has also been making headlines with their hardworking and impressive charity efforts for victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. They have raised tens of thousands of dollars through selling special t shirts, where all of the money goes directly towards donations. Recently it was also announced that they will be linking up with Bruce Springsteen on a single that will be sold to raise money for the victims. And if that wasn’t enough, $1 from each ticket sold on their upcoming summer tour will also go towards the victims as well.
