Experimental and conceptual power pop act Neon Neon have unveiled their newest track off the upcoming “Praxis Makes Perfect” album, a tribute to Italian publisher Giagiacomo Feltrinelli. In their usual style, the track is short, sweet, and surreal, its meaning illuminated by what will certainly be some creative and intriguing live performances. It is entitled “Mid Century Modern Nightmare,” and it can be streamed immediately on their official YouTube channel.
Along with the talents of Gruff Rhys and Boom Bip, who form the duo, this track also features various unique and original contributions from collaborators such as Cate Le Bon and an actor from Italy who offers his vocal talents in the form of a spoken monologue by Feltrinelli and originally broadcast close to forty years ago.
The full album will be released on April 29th in the United Kingdom and April 30th in the United States and Canada.
Neon Neon also recently announced tour dates in various U.K. cities.
