Chris Squire (bassist) formed the English progressive rock band, YES, in 1968. In the 1970’s YES became one the most popular and critically acclaimed groups in the genre of symphonic rock, experimental and psych rock of the age. A lineup change occurred in the early ’80s and YES took on a more pop-rock sound for the rest of the decade. Beginning with a 1960 self-titled album YES consistently released albums up until the 2001 album, Magnification. 19 studio albums in all, 9 of which have achieved top ten status across U.S. and U.K. charts. 2011 saw their 20th studio album – Fly From Here – and now 2013 is seeing a special concert series from this iconic and Grammy-winning rock band. YES will perform 3 albums in their entirety. They have been classified as an art rock band and YES is one of those bands that make albums complete works in and of themselves – conceptually, artistically, and musically. YES are one of the great live bands and this will be the first time since 1973 that they have played an album in it’s full glory on stage. The albums of choice – THE YES ALBUM (1971), Close to the Edge (1972), Going for the One (1977).
