The Southern California independent hip-hop festival has announced its initial lineup featuring the super group Black Hippy which includes Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock.
The Paid Dues music festival is known to feature some of the premier acts in independent hip-hop and this year’s lineup doesn’t look to disappoint. The initial lineup for this year’s event was released and it features headliners Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and super group Black Hippy. Black Hippy features the collaborative efforts of Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock, all of whom are raising stars in the world of hip-hop. Paid Dues aims to bring together a cohesive lineup from rappers with different styles. The rest of the initial lineup features Dom Kennedy, Tech N9ne, De La Soul, Immortal Technique, Hopskin, Joey Bada$$ and Grouch & Eligh. This year’s festival will return to the Nos Events Center in San Bernardino, California. General admission tickets price at$76 while VIP tickets are $186.
