Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato announces a new solo North American tour set to begin on June 7th. The former frontman for the American metalcore band is excited to, once again, tour across North America.
“I wanted to take a big ol’ road trip around North America with some friends and figured why not book some shows along the way to justify it financially,” exclaimed Puciato in an official statement.
Since the demise of TDEP in 2017, the singer’s kept busy creating and releasing two solo albums, and working on his other side projects Killer Be Killed and The Black Queen.
Beginning in early 2011, Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan and Max Cavalera of Soulfly and formerly Sepultura founded the metal supergroup, ‘Killer Be Killed’. Troy Sanders of Mastodon joined them soon after on bass and vocals while Dave Elitch from The Mars Volta took over drums duty. In May 2014, they released their debut self-titled album.
His other band, The Black Queen, is an electronic supergroup formed in Los Angeles in 2015. Founded by frontman Greg Puciato (of The Dillinger Escape Plan), keyboardist and guitarist Joshua Eustis (ex-Nine Inch Nails), and keyboardist and guitarist Steven Alexander (former tech for The Dillinger Escape Plan and Nine Inch Nails), they delivered their debut, Fever Daydream, in 2016.
The road trip kicks off on May 3rd in Roseville, California, and wraps up in Los Angeles on June 7th. News of the new tour first appeared on Consequence.net. Pre-sales for select dates are available for purchase now via Ticketmaster using code OPENER; public sales start Friday.
