Young the Giant is an American indie rock band formed in Irvine, California in 2004. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2010 and included hit songs like “My Body” and “Cough Syrup.” The band’s music blends elements of alternative, indie rock and pop with complex arrangements and thought-provoking lyrics. Lead singer Sameer Gadhia has a distinctive voice that has become one of the defining features of the band’s sound. Over the years, Young the Giant has built a loyal fan base and has toured extensively across the US and internationally. Their music has received critical acclaim and they have been recognized with multiple awards and nominations.
