Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, the rapper known as Future comes to Chicago at the United Center, this friday: January 20th. Future has recently released his ninth studio album I Never Liked You in April of last year. Since then, he has released songs “Bullseye 2” with Real Boston Richie and “Good On Love” with Double 0. Future is on his One Big Party Tour, which includes artists like Real Boston Richie and Double 0.
Future is known for his trap production and unique vocal style. Future uses autotune on his vocals. Typically, autotune is used to keep artists on pitch in their recordings. Future isn’t ashamed of his use of autotune, he uses it to his advantage and now is a pioneer of using autotune in rap. Future is also notorious for his mumble rap, a style of rap that revolves around rapping without a clear pronunciation.
According to the website, FREEBANDZ is a record label Future founded in 2011. The label includes a diverse group of artists including Future, Doe Boy, Herion Young, Teat, Lil Wookie, Guap Tarantino, Supernovaaaa and Lil Freaky. According to the GRAMMY website, along with fellow artists Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and James Blake, Future won the Grammy for Best Rap Performance in 2019.
The One Big Party Tour is advertised to be hosted by Future and Friends. Joining Future as friends are Lil Jairmy, Doe Boy, Double 0, Rob 49, Baby Face Ray, Real Boston Richie, Est Gee and Kodak Black. Lineup for the concert might change the day of.
