British singer Jamie Lidell will be kicking off his world tour on March 8th in London, England, in support of his self titled album, due February 19 on Warp Records. The US tour begins on March 28 at Echoplex in Los Angeles, CA.
Debuting in 1997 with his Freekin the Fame EP, his latest release and fifth overall has drawn critical acclaim, as well as named Best Pop/Rock album by the Independent Music Awards. Besides his solo releases, he has released the Super Collider albums, which is a collaboration with producer Cristian Vogel, and has also previously recorded with Feist, Simian Mobile Disco, Beck, Matthew Herbert, Chris Taylor, James Gadson and Gonzalez.
