Folk punk duo The Front Bottoms are hosting Champagne Jam ’22 at The Fillmore on Friday, December 16th and Saturday, December 17th. The event will be taking place on 3 stages where The Front Bottoms will be performing both nights at The Fillmore. The band is celebrating the release of their new EP Theresa with a five-week headline tour. Theresa serves as the third installment of the group’s Grandma EP series featuring re-recorded unreleased fan favorites.
Two-piece indie acoustic band based out of Bergen County, NJ formed in 2007 by Brian Sella (vocals, guitar, lyricist), Brian Uychich (keyboard, vocals) and Mat Uychich (drums). The members have known each other since they were kids. After Sella’s mother bought them some time at a local recording studio, the boys recorded 12 songs in three hours which gave them enough songs to book shows playing their own original music. In 2011, Brian Uychich left the band to pursue his education. The band then released their debut self-titled album after signing with Bar/None Records. They followed with their second album Talon of the Hawk and signed with Fueled by Ramen to issue Back on Top, Going Grey, and In Sickness & in Flames. The band continues to raise their profile playing at Coachella and touring with Blink-182 and Frank Turner.
Champagne Jam marks the end of their 2022 tour. Next year they’ll be performing at some major festivals including Shaky Knees Festival, Adjacent Festival, and When We Were Young.
