Canadian pop star Carly Rae Jepsen will complete her North American fall tour at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom with special guest Empress Of. The two will grace the stage for The So Nice Tour on Nov. 5.
The So Nice Tour marks Jepsen’s fourth concert tour. Though it kicks off on Sept. 21, the singer drops her upcoming album The Loneliest Time exactly one month later. Jepsen released two singles from the album earlier this year: “Western Wind” in May and “Beach House” in August. Lorely Rodriguez, professionally known as Empress Of, released Save Me in June. Three songs from the EP started as singles: “Save Me,” “Dance For You” and “Turn The Table.”
Jepsen first rose to international fame after her breakout track “Call Me Maybe” in 2012. Prior to her chart-topping single, the singer placed third in Canadian Idol’s fifth season. Since her launch to stardom 10 years ago, Jepsen has recorded five studio albums. She released her most recent album Dedicated Side B as the follow-up to 2019 LP Dedicated. Electropop artist Empress Of dropped her debut album Me in 2015. She subsequently released studio albums Us and I’m Your Empress Of before starting her own record label, Major Arcana, in 2020.
