The Australian Big Day Out Festival has finally announced its 2013 lineup and tour dates.
For the band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, this is the first Australian festival show they will be playing in since they started headlining in 2000. This is a very exciting moment for the band.
This year, there will be a lot of new bands coming to Australia for this festival. Congratulations to the following bands who are traveling from outside of Australia to participate in the festival for the first time, such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, Animal Collective and Sleigh Bells. The festival is also set to feature special dance music with particular DJ’s, such as Kaskade, Crystal Castles and Pretty Lights.
