In support of her album, Biophilia, Icelandic musician Bjork has started a three year tour. One of her intentions is to educate children about music and science. She stopped by The Colbert Report this past Tuesday for an interview and performance. Watch both by reading on.
Bjork, who is known for her eccentricity in music and style was one of the guests on The Colbert Report this week. She spoke with Colbert about Biophilia and how it’s different from anything that’s been done before. The record is the first “app album” in the world. It can be download as an app and is interactive with the listener, as Colbert demonstrates in the interview. After this, Bjork performed “Cosmogony,” one of the tracks on the album.
Biophilia is available for purchase now here, and as an application. Find American tour dates for Bjork’s tour below the videos.
