The 2012 Noisepop Music Festival has announced that the Flaming Lips will play The Soft Bulletin and Bob Mould will revisit Sugar’s album Copper Blue, their entirety for the 20th anniversary San Francisco lineup.
The festival is scheduled to run February 21 through 26, and will now feature recent additions including breakthrough noisepop duo Sleigh Bells, electronic musician and DJ Matthew Dear, and synthpop group Class Actress.
The festival has also revealed additional films to its lineup of films that include Re:Generation Music Project directed by Amir Bar-Le, and Bob and the Monster directed by Keirda Bahruth.
As previously reported, the Noisepop Festival has been announcing this year’s music lineup since December last year, and has since added to the growing February schedule.
