As previously mentioned, British singer VV Brown has been hard at work on her newest album Lollipops & Politics. Brown has now announced a February 7 release date, and has debuted a video for one track, “Children,” available here.
With previous success from her single “Shark in the Water,” and an opener’s slot for Maroon 5‘s August 2010 tour, Brown may be set to avoid the so-called “sophomore slump.”
On November 2, fans were treated to her live performance of “Children” on VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live.” Check out the video here.
On November 3, Brown continued promotion on Livestream with stripped-down performances of several songs, available for streaming here.
She has also announced dates for a fall tour, including stops at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory and San Francisco’s Ricksaw Shop.
