Nine Inch Nail members, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, released their latest original cinematic score for American drama film, Waves, directed and written by Trey Edward Shultz, for digital download.

The score consists of 14 songs, and has a running time of 77 minutes. It is currently only available for digital download.
Waves is an epic journey of a suburban African American family, as they learn to manage their emotions towards love and forgiveness, in wake of an unexpected tragedy. The film stars Kelvin Harrison, Lucas Hedges and Taylor Russell as the main characters.
The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival on Aug. 30, the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept 10 and was officially released in theaters on Nov. 15. So far, the film grossed a total of $354,504 in the box office.
Reznor and Ross will also be working on the score for the upcoming Pixar Studios movie, Soul. They mentioned most of their time is spent working on cinematic scores, so the plans they have made for Nine Inch Nails, has not gone into full force.
Currently, it is not known when the physical copies of the score are set to release.
