65daysofstatic has partnered up with Novara Media to release new music. The band made the announcement via Twitter and gave fans some insight on the media company. “If you don’t know who they are, they do actual proper good political analysis that doesn’t make you wanna smash your TV to pieces, but instead makes you feel like you’re actually learning something. WHO KNEW the news media could work this way?? Crazy nobody thought of it sooner,” the band had tweeted. See the full Twitter thread below.
The news comes shortly after their high-fidelity ranked LP, replicr, 2019. The album has spawned three singles so far, “popular beats, “trackerplatz,” and “Five Waves.” Earlier this year, the band had also released their latest EP Exvironments Pt.1 in September as part of their subscription service Unreleased/Unreleasable Vol. 4 – A year of Wreckage, which began this past May.
The service will see the band release a new EP every month up until April 2020. Kazimir, Fugue State, Looped Future and Ptolyweirds have been the EPs released thus far. They described the releases as “…an archive of primordial 65 sound palettes, a catalogue of (computer) errors and guitar glitches, drone ambience and breakcore math insanity, bleak strategies and escape tunnels. ” Each monthly release will vary in length but will be about the same as the release of an EP. It will feature music from their Decomposition Theory sessions.”
Oh yeah – dead excited to announce that we made some new music/sound design for the excellent @NovaraMedia! FULLY AUTOMATED LUXURY COMPOSITION! ✊
