With it’s second studio LP releasing in mid-October, Maynard James Keenan and his new Puscifer ensemble have released the first single off the upcoming album. The new song, “Man Overboard,” will be available on iTunes starting tomorrow.
Though the single officially releases tomorrow for digital download, it has already hit the e-waves and leaked onto YouTube.com. A YouTube user recorded the song via Sirius XM’s Alt Nation publishing the track on the website earlier today.
As previously reported, “Man Overboard,” marks the first single released from the upcoming, Conditions of My Parole, set to release on Oct. 18. The upcoming album will be Puscifer’s first full length release since it’s debut album from 2007.
The constantly revolving line up for Puscifer will feature Jeff Friedl and Matt McJunkins of Ashes Divide, L.A. based songwriter Juliette Commagere, with drummers Sarah Jones of Bat For Lashes and Jon Theodore formerly of The Mars Volta; Mat Mitchell and Josh Eustis have returned to produce the album along side Keenan.
Announced earlier today via Puscifer’s twitter, Sarah Jones is featured on drums in the new single.
Following the release of Conditions of My Parole, Keenan and a selection of the ensemble will hit the road for a two month tour in support of the album.
