In a strange turn of events, indie rock band Foster The People has taken to Twitter to discuss conspiracy theories surrounding the death of Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein’s suicide in prison over the weekend has quickly become the center of various conspiracy theories, due to the high profile of his case and the fact that he was already supposedly under suicide watch. The former billionaire was being charged with multiple counts child sex trafficing and sexual abuse, a case which has drawn the attention of the world. Epstein maintained close relationships with dozens of other rich high profile men, some of whom are now being thought of by many as complicit in his crimes. The main factor powering the conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death are his close personal ties with presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, who both have been known to vacation with Epstein and visit him frequently.
have you seen photos of the body? it’s obviously not him. my guess is, epstein’s on a private plane to somewhere in the middle east getting prepped for plastic surgery right now #EpsteinBodyDouble

Now, in a bizarre series of tweets, Foster The People is claiming that Epstein is not actually dead and that a body double was used to fool the public. On Saturday the group’s account first tweeted about the theory, then supporting their claims the following day with more ideas on what had happened. One of the tweets included a leaked photo of Epstein’s body alongside an older photo, with highlights used to point to inconsistencies between the two. Foster The People then went on to discuss the ties Epstein had with Attorney General William Barr’s father, suggesting that Barr was one of the people who helped replace Epstein with a double. This would lead one to believe that Foster The People blame the federal government for Epstein’s death, as the tweets suggest both Barr and President Trump may have been involved.
i find it strange that i’ve been chastised by reporters from NBC and other news outlets for my opinion. everything you guys have been reporting has been conjecture. if you want to be considered a respected authority of truth, do a better job. #EpsteinBodyDouble pic.twitter.com/3TWkAYYuRn

there is no QUESTION the government is behind the #EpsteinSuicideCoverUp . Research Attorney General Bill Barr and his father’s ties with Jeffrey Epstein. Barr helped broker the west palm beach “deal” that kept Epstein away from a life sentence in federal prison 🤮

The tweets continued on to say that the media would purposefully move past this quickly in order to make the public forget about the incident, telling fans to “do your own research” instead of listening to the media. While it is important to make sure one’s sources are reputable, the band’s message to only trust valid sources is somewhat soured by the fact they are at the same time supporting such a wild theory with no evidence behind it whatsoever. At the time of writing this article, Foster The People is continuing to tweet more on the issue, pushing the idea that a body double was used in place of Epstein.
the problem with a case like this, is that the public will forget about in a week. media will change headlines to another story and stop covering it. they already have. and it will be easily swept under the rug. just like the stephen paddock mass shooting.

more than ever artists need to speak up, because they’re not getting paid by sponsors or told how to spin a story by their bosses. rupert murdoch isn’t controlling their narrative. support your artists. support real journalism. fact check everything. do your own research.

Epstein, was taken off suicide watch. his cell mate was transferred the day before his “death”. and the guards who were supposed to check on him every 30 mins, left him alone for 24 hours in his cell. then we get “photographic evidence” that he’s dead. AND IT’S CLEARLY NOT HIM.
