Los Angeles based group That dog has announced they are reissuing a digital deluxe version of their self-titled debut album, in celebration of its 25th anniversary. The reissue is set to be released this Friday, July 12th and will feature four tracks that did not make the album but have been included on various releases throughout their career including 7-inches, singles, and compilations. The band has also released their song “Buy Me Flowers” on all digital streaming platforms and fans will get an instant download of the song when pre-ordering the album. See the full tracklist below.
Also in celebration of the record, the band will be playing two special shows in their hometown of Los Angeles. Taking place this Saturday, July 13, it will be two back to back shows, with the band playing their debut in its entirety for the first time ever. The early show will commence at 6 pm with a 10 pm late show following. The shows will also feature special guest Graham Coxon of Blur. Tickets to the shows can be purchased here.
Since releasing their debut and two albums in the years to follow, the band last made headlines in 2017, releasing a limited edition 7″ vinyl called Totally Crushed Outtakes. The album included four songs and included a collaboration with Beck and Smokey Hormel.
