Coming in hot off their performance in Indio, CA last week, the Big Four—Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica—announced yesterday that they will come together again on US soil for a show at Yankee Stadium in New York on September 14.
Announced via a post on Metallica’s website with an accompanying video featuring a message from James Hetfield, the show will be the Big Four’s second-ever US performance. Additionally, it is the second concert held at the new stadium.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 6 at Ticketmaster, but Metallica fan club members and Yankee season ticket holders will be treated to a pre-sale on Wednesday, May 4.
