The Raconteurs have come out of hiding as the band has announced their first live show in 8 years. Third Man Records, the band’s record label, has announced a 10-year anniversary celebration show with The Raconteurs set to headline. It will take place April 6 in the label’s hometown of Nashville, TN and will also include performances from Lillie Mae, Craig Brown Band, Teddy & The Rough Riders, The Dirtbombs, The Gories, Detroit Cobras, Quintron & Miss Pussycat, Soledad Brothers, and Todd Albright. Tickets for the special show will go on sale Friday, March 15 and general admission tickets start at $75 plus applicable fees and can be purchased here.
The Raconteurs’ last performance was in 2011 at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA as part of their reunion tour, performing a 14 song set including hits Steady, As She Goes, Consoler of the Lonely, Salute Your Solution, Carolina Drama, and a cover of Terry Reid’s “Rich Kid Blues” After announcing the reissue of their second album Consolers of the Lonely, they are expected to release a new album sometime this year. With the reissue, two new songs were featured on it to give fans a teaser of what is to come from the anticipated new album.
