According to Merge Records, Director Kayhl Cooper caught the skittish cat behaviors of random people when they put on headphones and listen to “A Place in the Sun”, music from Telekinesis’ forthcoming album Effluxion. No auspicious occasion with the colorful costumes and stellar casts in the music video, only clumsy dancing performances and catchy beats that bring the video fresh blood. We see the sparkles between camera talent and musical genius.

Playing the guitar melody with a light and heavy, firm and delicate touch, the moniker of Seattle songwriter Michael Lerner attempts to beat listeners’ heart out of the chest. As entitled, “A Place In The Sun” gives us an imagination that we leap easily from rock to rock under the sunshine. Maybe that’s the positive and beautiful energy Telekinesis wants to spread.

Since the Lyric Video For “Set A Course” in last year, fans have been waiting for Telekinesis’s New Album Effluxion on February 2019. “Cut the Quick” dropped in January gives us a taste of the full album which will release via Merge Records. We are waiting for more songs to have no choice but to put on our headphones and dance!
