The British rock band Muse has finally given use the update on their next tour. The world tour in support of their upcoming album Simulation Theory starts next February and runs all the way until late July. They will be in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center on April 7th. The highly anticipated Simulation Theory finally arrives tomorrow, as it has been in the works for about a year and a half now.
From what we know thus far from sources close to the band and singles from the album, Simulation Theory will show a new side of Muse, one that we haven’t seen at all recently. This project will be much more upbeat and happy than their previous few, and will not deal with the pain, societal shortcomings, and heavy issues. If the album’s artwork reminds you at all of Netflix’s hit Stranger Things series, there’s a reason behind that. The band wanted an 80s vibe to both the music, and the visual aspects of this project, even hiring the same artist that worked on the Stranger Things poster art.
As far as the show next April, it surely projects to be a great one. Already known for their on stage display and high energy crowds, the band has alluded that this upcoming tour will be their biggest and best thus far from a production standpoint. There have been rumors of high tech stage work to promote and push the sci-fi theme of the album and the tour. Until next year we won’t know for sure, but secure your chance to find out now as tickets are going fast.
