A stacked lineup featuring veteran New York City rappers has been announced for this November for the Holiday Hip Hop Jam in Queens. The lineup includes The LOX (which consists of Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, and Styles P), EPMD, Rakim, M.O.P., and Black Moon. The concert takes place November 23 at the Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College and will run through the night from 8:00 p.m. on.
Styles P, part of The LOX, just released a collaborative album, Beloved, with Dave East which features a song with all members of The LOX titled “Load My Gun.” The two are playing a hometown show at Irving Plaza tonight, October 17, to benefit the charity Hoodies for the Homeless. Black Moon will also perform a hometown show at S.O.B.’s to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their 1993 debut album Enta da Stage. EPMD also have a handful of shows coming up, including a headlining show at Detroit’s Music Hall Center. The Holiday Hip Hop Jam is a rare opportunity to see so many veteran New York City rappers under one roof for one night only. Tickets are on sale now.
