Australian electronic duo Empire of the Sun have been relatively quiet since releasing their latest album, Two Vines, in 2016. Last year they toured the United States including shows alongside The Avalanches and an appearance at Coachella 2017.
Modest Mouse have been busy touring for the last few years, having last released an album back in 2015. They recently played the final iteration of Sasquatch! Festival, which recently announced it would cease operations.
Cold War Kids released their sixth studio album in 2017, called LA Divine. The band hails from nearby Long Beach just up the coast, making them a logical choice to perform at this new festival. Phantogram are riding the success of their latest album, Three, though they did release a pair of songs this year (for charity).
