The third Ohana Festival will take place September 28 – 30 at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California. Tickets go on sale Friday May 4th 10 a.m. PT on the festival’s website. A portion of Ohana’s profits will go to San Onofre Parks Foundation, a California non-profit that cooperatively works with the California State Parks to develop, preserve and enhance the recreation and experience of California’s unique and beautiful coastal parks. Headliners for the festival include Eddie Vedder, Mumford & Sons and Eric Church.
On Friday September 28th headliner Eric Church an American country music singer-songwriter will kick off the music festival. Church released his most recent album Mr. Understood in 2015. Other performances for the first festival day include Norah Jones, Amos Lee, Nikki Lane, John Doe Folk Trio, The White Buffalo, The War + Treaty, Dave Hause & The Mermaid, Kevin Devine and Timmy Curran.
The Ohana Festival continues on Saturday, September 29th with headline Eddie Vedder, American singer-songwriter and lead vocalist from Pearl Jam. Vedder, as a member of Pearl Jam, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 7, 2017. Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Liz Phair, Johnny Marr, Bahamas, Nombe, Lauren Ruth Ward, Plague Vendor, Billy Raffoul, Lilly Hiatt and Desure will also be performing on the second day of the festival.
The festival will wrap up on September 30th with Mumford & Sons headlining. Mumford & Sons has said that they are currently working on a new album that is set to release in 2018. Performances from Beck, Young the Giant, Switchfoot, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Hiss Golden Messenger, Fantastic Negrito, Allan Rayman , Nick Hakim, The Wild Feathers, The Palms and The Alive will also be performing on Sunday.
