In a video from TMZ, Kanye West is shown rapping about “white dominance.” In the short rap we hear in the video he raps: Hopped off the Amistad and made ‘I’m A God’/It’s always a lituation when I’m involved / See, I say what they say when the mic is off/Parents are the strippers/Strip kids of their confidence/Teach white dominance/Question your common sense.”
According to NME, West invited boss of TMZ Harvey Levin to his offices to share new music that West has been working on, as well as teasing music coming from Nas, Pusha T, and Teyana Taylor. West is also making two albums of his own, one of which will be a Kid Cudi collaboration, set to be released in June.
West is also receiving backlash for his support for President Donald Trump. The rapper recently showed support to the president via Twitter. West says they both have “dragon energy” and that “he is my brother” with the president acknowledging his tweets responding “Thank you, Kanye! Very cool.”
The rapper also recently announced that he will be releasing a philosophy book, with him providing knowledge to the general public in recent tweets, including “You have the best ideas. Other people’s opinions are usually more distractive than informative” and “Don’t follow crowds. Follow the innate feelings inside of you. Do what you feel not what you think.”
