The Fader has reported that Kanye West has resumed recording on his upcoming album, as numerous social media posts from the likes of Kid Cudi, Nas, The-Dream, and Travis Scott have indicated that West has begun recording again in the Wyoming mountains.
Outside of making an appearance at the NBA All-Star Game to perform with Kid Cudi, West has been out of the spotlight since the first rumors of new music began to surface last May. He did manage to make a live appearance at a Kid Cudi concert last November, but outside of that and a rare social media post, we have heard and seen little of him in quite a while. West became embroiled in a series of legal disputes last year in the wake of canceling his Life of Pablo tour, which may have caused the delay of the recording process, but based on these social media posts, new music is currently in the works. It has been over two years since West last released an album and music fans have been clamoring for West to return to making the innovative music that he has become known for over the course of his impressive solo career.
