The fourteenth annual Mountain Jam Music festival is a three-day long music festival featuring over 40 band on 3 different stages in one of most prominent natural amphitheaters at Hunter Mountain, in Hunter, NY. The festival opens on Friday, June 15th, and closes on Sunday, June 17th, 2018. This year’s Mountain Jam festival headliners are, Jack Johnson, Sturgill Simpson, and Alt-J.
The Mountain Jam Festival is a collaboration between, Chet-5 Festivals, and Townsquare Media Group, and one of NY’s most successful independent radio stations, Radio Woodstock. The festival has been rated as one of the best music festivals in the US, by many different magazines and publications, such as Rolling Stone Magazine, and Pollstar.
Mountain Jam Music Festival offers: Three-Day SUPER VIP PASS $975.00, which includes access to SUPER VIP tents with direct view of the main stage, plus dinner and unlimited beer and wine, and much more. Three-Day VIP PASS $600.00, which lets you enjoy the VIP view area of the main stage, and access to VIP Hospitality lounge tent. Jack Johnson is a singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, His works are mainly soft rock, and acoustic. His debut album Brushfire Fairytales was a commercial success. Many of his albums, such as Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George, and Sleep Through the Static, were number one on Billboard 200 chart.
Sturgill Simpson is an award-winning singer and songwriter. His third album, A Sailor’s Guide to Earth, released in 2016, won him the 59th Grammy award, and the Best Country Album. Later in the same year his album was nominated for the Album of the Year.
Alt-J is an indie rock band formed by Gwil Sainsbury (guitar/bass), Joe Newman (guitar/lead vocals), Thom Sonny Green (drums), by Gus Unger-Hamilton (keyboards/vocals) in Leeds, England in 2007. Their debut album, An Awesome Wave, was a success, and achieved 2012 British Mercury Prize. After Gwil Sainsbury departure from Alt-J in 2014, Cameron Knight joined the band as the guitar and bass player.
The Mountain Jam music festival lineup will also feature The War On Drugs (a Grammy award-winning indie rock band), Portugal. The Man (a pop band based in Portland, Oregon), The Decemberists (an American indie rock band), Jenny Lewis (American singer, songwriter, actress), Rag’n’Bone Man (English singer and songwriter, achieved great success with “Human” his first hit single), and also Kurt Vile & The Violators, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Turkuaz, Chicano Batman, The Record Company, Anderson East, The Felice Brothers, Mondo Cozmo, Son Little, Everything Everything, Lewis Capaldi, Sarah Borges and The Broken Singles, Woods, Andy Frasco and The U.N., Thomas Wynn & The Believers, Jade Bird, The Stone Foxes, Liz Vice, John Craigie, Jack Broadbent, Eric Tessmer Band, Mapache, Larkin Poe, Oliver Hazard, Jocelyn & Chris Arndt, Honeysuckle, Sydney Worthley, Sweet Marie.
