Ingrid Michaelson is one of those great famous women that is somehow barely recognized by her face but is praised because the rising legacy of the work behind her name. Michaelson has earned a loyal following due her eye for crafting exceptionally idiosyncratic songs that have a tendency to replay over and over in your head. Her single “Parachute” is an example of that. With the flawless build up in the melody to the beat, this track is a consistent reminder of what Ingrid’s fans love about her.
Taking her album to the next level, Ingrid plans on using the popular hit, retro series , Stranger Things, as her inspiration for her next album. So much so that she has named her album Stranger Songs.

In a statement , Michaelson said that “finding your connection to another’s art” isn’t something she’s ever built an album around before, but she just feels “so inspired by the world Stranger Things has created.”
Despite the slightly scary happenings on Stranger Things, Michaelson says goes on to explain that the show puts her into a place of comfort, and inspired her to write poems and that was when she began to realize how connected to the show she was.
After singer/songwriter Ingrid Michaelson single-camera comedy series exclusive to Hulu, being a success fans anxiously anticipates how she combines her love for T.V and singing in this next album.It was finding her connection to another artist art that seemed to help Michaelson build and develop her passion for this album.
Although this launch of Stranger Songs is among a series of first for Michaelson, critics as well as fans can see how she has soared in the midst of firsts. An example of this is seen with her film debut, Humor Me , where she played a recovering drug addict, as well as her Broadway debut in Natasha, Pierce & The Great Comet of 1812.
Michaelson has shown her clear ability to do above and beyond what fans expects, whether it be as a film star or as an artist, her eye for true creativity is what keeps her fans intrigued, involved and in-love with everything that has her name on it, and we are sure that the Stranger Songs album will only illustrate her exceptional originality even more.
