Since 2013 Psycho Entertainment has put on the award-winning music Psycho Festival which has been at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California from its birth to 2015. However, in 2016, Psycho Festival moved to the sin-city Las Vegas and took on the title the ever-fitting Psycho Las Vegas.
Now, Psycho has announced its first round of line-ups and, boy, are you in store for some fun. This year’s festival will feature the reunion and first U.S. show in 9 years of legendary psych-rockers Witchcraft. The line-up also has bands such as Goblin, High On Fire, Zakk Sabbath, Stranger Things composers S U R V I V E, Chicago’s very own Indian, as well as the UK’s DVNE (their first U.S. show).
This years Psycho Las Vegas will be held this scorching summer on August 17-19. Tickets will go on sale Friday December 15th at 10am, you can get tickets here. They have also announced that the first 2500 tickets sold will include a special invitation to the Psycho pre-fest pool party so don’t be late!
Psycho Las Vegas recently won a 2017 award for best LV festival and has received praise from media groups such as Vice’s Noisey, Metal Injection, Loudwire, and Las Vegas Weekly. Noisey has deemed it “[…] one of America’s greatest heavy music extravaganzas” so don’t miss a chance to get your tickets!
S U R V I V E is an horror-electronic band formed in 2009 featuring members Michael Stein, Kyle Dixon, Adam Jones, and Mark Donica. The Austin, Texas band have been composing horror scores for years for the likes of features such as The Guest. More recently, they have acclaimed enormous world-wide fame for their compositions considering Netflix’s Stranger Things, even winning an Emmy for the theme-song.
UPDATE (1/12): Pyscho Las Vegas has announced the second round of artists that will play the pre-festival pool party. Among the artists announced are Washington black metal stalwarts Wolves In The Throne Room, Bostonian doom rockers Elder, Southern California Cambodian-garage band Dengue Fever, plus Young and in the Way, Fireball Ministry and Toke. This is a separate ticketed event from the festival, taking place on August 16, the day before.
In separate Pyscho Las Vegas news, the festival has announced that artist Dirty Donny Gillies will be creating custom artwork for the event. And lastly, the festival has announced the addition of Tinariwen to the lineup proper.
UPDATE (1/23): Psycho Las Vegas 2018 has added a grip of great new bands to its lineup. Included in the announcement is black metal legends Dimmu Borgir, drone legends Sun 0))), garage punk legends The Hellacopters, hardcore legends American Nightmare… You get it, this lineup is stacked. Also announced are a bunch of massively influential heavy groups like Godflesh, Boris, Venom Inc., Red Fang, Enslaved, eyehategod, Rocket From The Crypt and more. Even CKY is getting in on the action!

UPDATE (3/27): Today, Pyscho Las Vegas has announced a surprise new headliner for the 2018 festival and it’s a big one. None other than metal icon Danzig will be at the festival for a headlining set – and there’s an even better twist. His set will consist of a full album performance of the 1992 album Danzig III: How the Gods Kill. In other news, Bell Witch has been added to the Paradise Pool Pre-Party.
