Northern Invasion Festival’s 2018 lineup features a slew of top-notch entertainers and it was announced today. Tool and Avenged Sevenfold are two of the headliners, but there are four. A Perfect Circle and Alice In Chains will also lead the incredible lineup that Northern Invasion has put together for next year: Saturday May twelfth and Sunday the thirteenth. As always, the Wisconsin festival will be held at the Somerset Amphitheater in Somerset.
Though its name and location haven’t changed in years, next year’s festival promises to be “bigger and better than ever.” Fans should expect a generous twelve hours of music to be played per day on three different stages.
Some of the headliners had a few words to say about the upcoming concerts. Maynard James Keenan of Tool says that he’s “looking forward to playing material from the new A Perfect Circle release atNorthern Invasion,” and that “bringing new songs to life in a live setting is always exciting.”
Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots took an even more enthusiastic tone; “Stone Temple Pilots are beyond thrilled to be playing Northern Invasion 2018. We are back! It’s going to be a killer weekend of great music–great fun.”
Joe Litvag, the festival’s executive producer, took time to make sure the lineup included “rock legends” as well as the “hottest up-and-comers in the genre.”
Northern Invasion Festival has always been the product of Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP), a music festival production company based in Los Angeles, California. DWP boasts an incredible ability to deliver quality festivals both in content and organization. The company is responsible for a number of other major festivals, including Rock On The Range, which will also convene next year.
