Fleet Foxes Announces Winter 2018 Tour Dates

Fresh off of an incredible year which saw them release their first new album in 6 years and successfully touring the world, playing some astonishing festival sets, Fleet Foxes have announced another set of tour dates for 2018. After a brief tour of East Asia in January, the band will return to North America in March for a string of shows in the south, culminating with a performance at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium in May.

Fleet Foxes first rose to prominence as part of the indie-folk explosion during the 2000’s, becoming one of the genres hottest bands upon the release of their self-titled debut in 2008, before taking an extended hiatus in 2011. Now the group has rounded back into form as their latest release; Crack-Up was positively received throughout the music community (check out mxdwn’s review here). Additionally, Fleet Foxes participated in this year’s Record Store Day Black Friday as they released an exclusive EP for the event that contained four songs that were recorded for a WFUV session at the historic Electric Lady Studios in New York. Also, the band recently paid tribute to the late Tom Petty by performing a rousing cover of “Don’t Come Around Here No More” during a headlining set.

UPDATE (1/16): Fleet Foxes have added a host of new dates to their tour itinerary for 2018, with festival stops at Coachella, Boston Calling, and Shaky Knees along with more performances in the South and Midwest.

UPDATE (2/19):
The band has added even more dates to their tour, with more shows being added in Southern California as well as a concert in late July in Lewistown, New York.
