With just a little over two weeks until Queens of the Stone Age release their long-awaited follow up to …Like Clockwork, the Mark Ronson-produced Villians, the band has released another new single. This one is called “The Evil Is Landed” – the reference shouldn’t be too hard to discern. It follows the one previously-released track from the album, “The Way You Used To Do.” The band has also teased another song from the album, “Head Like A Haunted House.”
Those paying close attention will have already heard this new song from QOTSA, as they played the song live in Niagra Falls at the end of June – which was their first live gig in almost two years. The band is in the middle of a short respite from their lengthy 2017 tour. The band’s last show was at the end of July at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. Unfortunately for West Coast fans of the band, they were forced to cancel their appearance at this weekend’s Outside Lands Festival due to an undisclosed injury in the band.
