Rock & Shock Festival has recently announced the lineup for the 2017 event from October 13th to 15th at DCU Center & Worchester Palladium. This year’s lineup includes Ministry, who has announced their album AmeriKKKant, Death Grips, who has announced working on a new album and releasing a song, and Superjoint, who has announced a fall tour. According to Loudwire, this year’s first announcement includes four first time guests and six bands that have played at the festival before.
Rock & Shock Festival has been standing over a decade and held each year at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. The name for the festival was created due to its performance piece with the music and meetings with horror film stars, directors, and writers. There are also conventions that includes horror film actors, directors, make-up artist, etc. Previous appearances and artists are Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Robert Englund and Tyler Mane.
The current first set of the line up will have live performances by Ministry, Death Grips, Harley Flanagan and Devlyn Sydus on Friday. Superjoint, Motionless In White, The Amily Affliction, Devil Driver, The Rocking Dead, Miss May I, Haddonfield, King Parrot, Cane Hill, and Child Bite on Saturday. On Sunday, the “Mostasteless Tour” will be taken place, featuring Moonshine Bandits, Blaze Yah Dead Homie, Whitney Peyton and Andrew W. Peyton. There will be appearances made by James Remar, Adam Green, Pollyanna Mcintosh, Tom Savini, Tiffany Shepis, Alex Vincent, Christine Elise, Barbara Magnolfi and Mark Lester. The festival is generally opened to people of all ages. There are many hotels and travel accommodations available around the area.
