The Drums are a surf rock band from New York City. The band was formed in 2008 by long-time friends Jonny Pierce and Jacob Graham. Pierce has been the backbone to the group after a fallout occurred between the members. The Drums sound of surfy guitar riffs, snappy clicks and catchy lyrics has evolved around musical influences such as Joy Division, The Smiths and The Beach Boys.

The band has released four albums, an EP and several singles. They are currently signed to Anti-Records, Arts & Crafts (Mexico) and Tugboat (Japan). The Drums latest album Abysmal Thoughts was released on June 16^th of this year via Anti-Records. “Blood Under My Belt” from the new album shows the usual Drums sound that fans have loved from the beginning.
