The pop-punk band, Jimmy Eat World, formed in the heart of the 90s in Mesa, Arizona. In 1993, long-time friends Jim Adkins and Zach Lind joined with Tim Linton and Mitch Porter to create the band. The original quartet had Linton on vocals and guitar, Adkins on backing vocals and guitar, Lind on drums and Porter on bass. Porter was replaced in 1995 by Rick Burch, who is still a part of the band.
Integrity Blues is Jimmy Eat World’s ninth and most recent studio album that was released in September 2016. Stated by Pitchfork, “…Integrity Blues is perhaps Jimmy Eat World’s Best record since Bleed American, and even serves as its unlikely spiritual sequel.” Some fan favorites that early fans can remember are “The Middle,” “Hear You Me” and “Sweetness.” Though the band has been touring in support of their most recent record, hopefully the band will be bound to play some of their oldies that made fans fall in love in the first place.
