Roni Size is one of the foremost important figures in the U.K’s jungle music genre. The genre, for those who are unfamiliar, is a U.K based sub genre of rave music, think of it as an early version of EDM. It’s a mix of fast electronic beats layered with a slow reggae style of hooks. He has been DJing ever since 1988, which mean he has been a part of the scene for over 30 years. So, yeah, you could say he knows what he’s doing. The most recent release from Size is his 2016 EP with DJ Krust entitled Past & Present. That release is responsible for the songs Kloaking Device, Rock The Boat, and Whistleblower. Previous to that Size has dropped an impressive seven other albums and countless EPs and singles. He is best known for his songs Brown Paper Bag from his debut album back in 1997, No More, New Forms, Dirty Beats, Final Day, and Out Of Breathe.
