Exciting news for Rhiannon Giddens fans. She has just announced tour dates for the spring of 2017. Just a couple of months ago she released info on her new album Freedom Highway. Now she is going on tour for her new album that will be released on February 24th.
Giddens is best known for starting the blues group, The Carolina Chocolate drops and they won the Grammy in 2011 for their folk album Genuine Negro Jig. She is the only original member of the group but stays active in it as well as working on her solo career. She will be making a guest appearance in the fifth season of Nashville on C.M.T.
