Right after announcing a new album, the Florida death metal outfit Morbid Angel have announced a summer tour in support of the record, surrounding their appearance at the Maryland Deathfest. Alongside Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Revocation an Withered will be supporting acts. Dan Vadim Von of Vadimvon will be playing second guitar.
This tour will be their first with Von, as well as Scott Fuller, the drummer of Annihilated, after the departure of the beloved Pete Sandoval. The band’s upcoming LP will be dropping this summer.
The band is known for releasing their albums in alphabetical order, so their 9th record will begin with a J, following 2011’s Illud Divinum Insanus.
